Pharmadule receives a 36 million SEK order from Advanced Medical Optics (AMO) for the delivery of a microbiology laboratory
Pharmadule, a division of Pharmadule Emtunga AB, has been contracted for the delivery of a modular microbiology lab for Advanced Medical Optics (AMO)., a global medical device leader. Pharmadule will design, fabricate and validate the two-story facility. The microbiology lab includes functions such as washing, preparation, sterilization, incubation as well as locker rooms and offices for the personnel. The facility will be delivered to AMO’s site in Fyrislund, Uppsala, Sweden where it will be installed, qualified and handed over to the client in June, 2006.
Pharmadule’s total undertaking includes installation qualification (IQ) and operational qualification (OQ). The long experience from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries was key to AMO’s decision to select Pharmadule as the supplier of the new laboratory.
